Rachel Fisher, BCMA, lives and works in Lostwithiel, Cornwall, where she has a therapy and meditation room. She has a love of the outdoors, walking and yoga and travel.

Rachel qualified as a reflexologist in 2000 with international reflexology lecturer, author and teacher Jan Williamson. 

She went on to qualify in bodywork specialising in Swedish and Remedial Massage at Exeter School of Bodywork, where she attained a distinction.

Rachel has also trained with The Jing Institute of Advanced Massage gaining a qualification in Holistic Medical Massage, Hot Stone Fusion Therapy and Hot Stone Reflexology. 

In 2012, Rachel trained in TMJ, Tempero Mandubilar Joint Disfunction, with Tracey Kiernan-Smith. This approach, which was ground-breaking at the time, explores and releases tensions and issues associated with the musculature of the jaw.

A turning point in Rachel’s career came in 2014 when she trained in Fascial Unwinding with Jan Trewartha; a leading light in fascia and scar therapy. In 2015, Rachel was one of the first students in the UK to train with Jan in “Sharon Wheelers ScarWork Therapy”.

Scarwork has become Rachel’s hands on therapy passion.  As well as treating regular clients, she has volunteered with veterans which culminated in her working as a ScarWork therapist at the Invictus Games Trials in Sheffield in 2019.

In 2021, after training with internationally renowned teacher Jonni Pollard, she added Meditation Teaching to her roster of skills and qualified to teach “The One Giant Mind Being Technique”.

In 2023, Rachel qualified to teach scarwork to other bodyworkers and therapists.
